About

ABOUT

Ohana Arts Conservatory at Pacific Buddhist Academy: Pre-Professional Performing Arts Training for High School Students is a small, selective, college-preparatory program designed for passionate young artists who want serious training without sacrificing a strong academic foundation.

Through a unique partnership with Pacific Buddhist Academy, students receive a fully accredited high school education while training in a conservatory-style, pre-professional performing arts program. Our audition-based admissions process ensures an intimate, focused learning environment where every student is known, mentored, and challenged to grow as a performer, scholar, and leader.

With intentionally small class sizes and limited cohort sizes, students benefit from personalized instruction, close faculty mentorship, and individualized artistic development.  Each student is seen, supported, and given meaningful opportunities to perform, create, and lead.

Students pursue intensive training in music, theatre, and dance, guided by industry-experienced faculty who bring real-world expertise into the classroom and rehearsal studio. Frequent performance opportunities, professionally produced productions, and hands-on creative projects allow students to build confidence, develop a strong artistic portfolio, and gain real-world experience—starting in their first year.

As part of the small, values-driven school community at Pacific Buddhist Academy, students also benefit from a close-knit, nurturing academic environment that emphasizes character, compassion, and whole-child development. This balance of pre-professional arts training and individualized academic support prepares graduates not only for competitive college programs and the entertainment industry, but for meaningful, purpose-driven lives.

Why Small Class Sizes Matter

We intentionally keep our program small so that students will receive the kind of individualized attention that is impossible in larger schools.

This means each student will get:

✔ Personalized instruction tailored to their strengths and goals

✔ Close mentorship from industry-experienced faculty

✔ More meaningful performance opportunities

✔ Individualized academic support

✔ Stronger relationships with teachers and peers

✔ A safe, nurturing learning environment

✔ Faster artistic growth and higher confidence
